Description
"Sit Down You Little Bastard"
is an original acrylic painting, based on the real-life childhood memory
of attending 'The Uncle Gus Show' in the early 1970's.
'The Uncle Gus Show' was a weekday kiddie program
broadcast from WMUR studios in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Uncle Gus (Gus Bernier), along with his occasional side-kick,
Ring-A-Ding the Clown (Dwight Damon),
did not particularly care about children all that much,
and they made that evident to their studio audience
when they would break to a commercial, or a cartoon.
"Sit Down You Little Bastard"
(Memories of 'The Uncle Gus Show' with Michael Parry).
is just one of the 21 new paintings that will be unveiled at
the solo art show by Jonathan Morrill-
