for thee 1989 Underground Production of "B MOVIE"
Starring Brian Randall as the “Struggling Artist".
“B Movie” is an independent motion picture, that was filmed on multiple media formats, including Kodak Kodachrome 40 super 8mm film, 16mm, VHS, Betamax, and 3/4” videotape.
“B Movie” takes it’s viewers
on a surreal, and psychotronic journey.
It unfolds through a connecting series
of conceptual music videos.
Those music videos are set
to eight original Rock n' Roll songs
by "Father Buzz".
"Father Buzz" is Brian Randall's 1987 conceptual studio band, which produced the studio recording compilation,"Ward 5", to which the videos of
"B Movie" are scored.
The 'Coffee House Rock Opera Featurette'
was shot entirely in St. Petersburg, Florida,
in a "steps and stairs" shooting schedule,
which took place in 3 consecutive spring seasons,

About Jonathan Morrill
Jonathan Morrill is a Hollywood-based artist. His acrylic works of many a tinsel-town icon have graced the walls of La-La Land's great haunts, including Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where he appears as himself in the HBO documentary; "The Young and The Dead" (2000), painting an over-sized portrait of Rudolph Valentino as the "The Son of The Sheik", mere yards away from the icons final resting place. The piece is featured in Tracy Ryan Terhune's book 'Valentino Forever' (AuthorHouse, 2004) In 2019, that same 10' x 10' acrylic portrait continues to be displayed at the annual Valentino memorial.
